From 4-5 April, Green Nautical Miles participated at the World Maritime University Conference: Empowering Women in the Maritime Community.
Two days of conferences with participants from more than 70 countries encouraging women to participate in the maritime and ocean sectors, and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular, the achievement of Gender Equality (Goal No. 5).
Green Nautical Miles presented research about the Oceans Protection Plan, a Canadian strategy to create a world-leading marine safety system that provides economic opportunities for Canadians today while protecting the coastlines for future generations.
